Who we are

​UNIT was founded by Natalie, Andreu and Hendrik in 2018 with a shared goal of creating architecture. They draw on their shared cultural background and experiences to guide UNIT.

​

We strive to design bespoke architecture that surprises people and is free from ego. Our interests are wide-ranging, with a focus on ease of use, quality of life with attention to detail and materiality.

We are a compact architectural studio, ensuring that our relationship with our clients remains personal. We are based in Brussels and Valencia, where the majority of our projects are located. We enjoy collaborating with clients or external actors to draw on diverse areas of expertise and create designs that fulfill the request in a surprising and valuable way.

What we do

​

We undertake renovation projects of all sizes and types, from extensions to minor alterations. We design single-family homes, furniture and medium-scale public projects. Our expertise ranges from small-scale interventions to more complex projects where collaboration and coordination between the various parties involved play a key role.
