“Architecture is a tool to improve public and private space, both functionally and aesthetically.”
UNIT was established in 2018 by Nathalie Havelange, Andreu Vélez Guillén, and Hendrik Verlinden. Drawing from their diverse cultural backgrounds and collective experiences, they shared a core belief: architecture serves as a means to address the specific needs of both society and individuals. It serves as a tool for enhancing public and private spaces, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Thus, architectural research becomes an ongoing journey, characterized by a continual exchange of ideas and a deep understanding of each project's requirements. It is a delicate equilibrium between function, spatial relationships, and materiality.
