Proposal for an interior renovation. A new staircase was needed to connect the first three levels withouth using the main staircase. We used this opportunity to re-organise the spaces, create new rooms and make the house up-to-date with the requirements of the family. 

We designed a staircase as a recognisable element from the basement through the first floor with storage spaces and opportunities for the kids to read, play and climb. The round opening in the wall lets in natural light from top top bottom. The wood finishing gives a distict character to this new addition in this classic Brussel rowhouse.
